Focus Fire hosted a large gaming event on December 11th and 12th at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, WI. Players competed for their chance to win a piece of the $10,000+ in cash prizes. 20+ sponsors supported the event and attended with unique booths. Special thanks to our top sponsors, Charter, BGRMods & Live Stream. Thousands of dollars in product were simply given away at these vendor booths! Gaming Generations alone gave away an Xbox 360 w/ Kinect and multiple Hori fight sticks. Astro gave away 4 A40 headsets w/ mix amps & backpacks. Altra gave away a TV and tons of gift cards. We would list the other great giveaways, but it would take to long to explain! With 11 official tournament games and tons of side tournaments going on, the action never stopped over this 2 day event. There was one major problem, a snow storm rolled in late Friday night and continued throughout the weekend. This wasn’t just any snow storm, it was marked the 3rd worst in the history books for La Crosse. The final amount dumped on the city was around 25″. Roads were shut down, not allowing many players and spectators to make it. Even with this nasty weather, we still had nearly 2,000 people attend.
